Ils permettent de réduire la dysphorie de genre et ainsi d’améliorer la santé mentale. C’est pourquoi leur prix est un sujet important, puisqu’il impacte largement l’accessibilité à ces sous-vêtements.

Since these are essential products, one might expect these undergarments to be covered by social security. However, we have not yet reached that level of recognition for the needs of trans individuals. 

Indeed, gender-affirming clothing is not covered by social security at all, even though it represents a significant expense. Transgender individuals often have to spend hundreds of euros to update their wardrobe and express the gender they wish.

Further reducing this price would lead to the company's closure, as it would no longer be able to cover its unavoidable costs, or it would mean not fairly compensating the workers involved in its manufacturing. 

Pourquoi peut-on trouver des binders moins chers en ligne ? 

This is generally due to decentralized production in Asia, where working conditions in sewing workshops are disastrous. Manufacturing there is so inexpensive that a significant profit margin is actually made on these supposedly low-cost undergarments.

De plus, les binders achetés à travers ces productions-là sont fabriqués avec des matières premières de basse qualité et un design inadapté. Ces binders peuvent être dangereux, souvent causants des bleus ou des mal de dos assez conséquents. Évitez-les à tout prix !
